From Philly, the painter and superb improvising percussionist Tracy Lisk comes with a Brazilian musical background that inform the substance of her outputs with references to rhytmic structures while mantaining a fluid, suspended continuity.

Based in Salem, Andrea Pensado works with sound as a performer and programmer since the 90s. Harsh dense layers of sounds, often interwoven with her voice, combine hybrid synthesis techniques to create a highly personal sound language, which reflects the absurdity of life with its paradoxical contrapositions: light and darkness, peace and despair, joy and sadness, all mixed together in a chaotic and ridiculous “circus” where, inexplicably, we all find ourselves in.
